Since 1915, finely crafted 100% wool handknit sweaters, classic handwoven tweed coats and exclusive knitting yarn, have been the trademarks of Cottage Craft.

The palette of Cottage Craft colours, reflect the beauty of the landscapes and seascapes surrounding our seaside town. Many of our shades were created by Miss Grace Helen Mowat, a forward thinking lady who began the business in 1915. Each shade reflects rich heather tones, which blend beautifully.

Whether you choose a sweater to be knit by one of our talented handknitters, or one of our tweed garments, you can be assured of getting many years of wear. Some of our sweater patters are over forty years old, and remain as popular today as ever.

If you are a knitter, you can create your own Cottage Craft original. Many of our styles are offered in sweater kit form. Our wool is compatible with many patters, Thus, a growing number of knitters are choosing Cottage Craft wool for their projects.
